 - Runt decides we are going to Eureka Springs for Easter.

 - Call Treehouse Cottages, got lucky, a cancellation leaves open cabin.

 - Depart Plano Thurs 7:30 PM, arrive Broken Bow Microtel 10:00. Long time favorite Charles Wesson shunned due to bug experience last visit.

 - Determine that 2000 Classic headlight stinks compared to 2000.

 - Determine Cobra lighbar really lights up the road, especially when pointed up. Oncoming drivers voted approval by constantly flashing highbeams
    Lightbar adjustment is needed.

 - Dining options limited in Broken Bow at 10:30. Double quarter pounder (with cheese) ended a good day.
Fri

 - 8:30 departure under chilly but sunny sky.

 - Chilly turns to cold on Talihema Dr as (slow down cause you cannot see) fog closes in. Bat's radar on fritz.

 - There is frost on the trees.

 - It is a good thing I brought the electic gloves. It is a bad thing they are in saddle bag and if we stop we will freeze. 10 minutes in Mena Wendy thaws fingers.

 - It is a good thing I bought engine guard chaps a year ago. It is a bad thing they are not on travel checklist and are sitting on garage shelf.

 - Multiple tourists snacked on 71.

 - Pig Trail is still silly. Even sillier when there is snow on tree limbs.

 - Upper 23 is still an all time favoroite road.

 - Bliss is lessened as a few snow flakes drop. No accumulation so not too bad.

 - Cabin is .5 mile down gravel road. Hard to do gravel when you are shivering.

 - Dump gear, go for supplies and very early dinner. Bubba's BBQ has 'Fat Tire Weekend' for $3 per bottle. This happens to be the normal price.
   X gets 50 cent discount after falling for trap and then whining.

 - Yellow Tail (X's favorite $7 bottle of wine) is a $14 premium in Eureka. Replacement brand search begins.

 - Forecast is 24 degrees tonight. Treehouse has double heart shaped Jacuzzi tub so cold is not an issue. (Also have radiant floor heating if tub fails).

 - Curtain is going on the movie. Oh joy, it is a cartoon penguin movie. Oh joy.
Sat
 - Forecast  was wrong, it is 23 degrees.
 - Explore the joys of Eureka Springs on foot and by trolley car.
 - Various items purchased, various blisters gform due to excessive walking.
 - Temp warms to 40, Bat rolls into town for more shopping.
 - Wine seller mentions 'Big Cat Preserve', X gets to go look at big kitties in a cage.
 - Walk to dinner, walk home, tub feels good
Sun
 - 9:00 rollout, it is 30 degrees
 - Full face mask is a lifesaver, silly looking but warm
 - 45 to Fayetteville is good, not turning on 71 and therefore riding into some college campus is bad.  Lose 15 minutes circling parking lots.
 - Runt is too cold to get off bike at gas stop, 5 minutes and we are rolling.
 - 1:00, second gas stop and lunch in Atoka.  KFC overcharges for all breast 6 piece meal.
 - Hammer home.
